Maggie and Payton’s romantic wedding at Woodbine Mansion
When I have the opportunity to spend more than one evening with my couples it makes each moment extra special! We’re able to build a great relationship and I just can’t help but get a little bit more teary-eyed as they say “I Do!” I was so lucky to be a part of two very special days for Maggie and Payton; their proposal and their wedding at Woodbine Mansion! Taking part in their love story was SUCH an honor and I just could not be happier for these two.
From the start, Maggie and Payton knew that they wanted their wedding to be two things for sure: memorable and fun! It was so important that all of their guests enjoy themselves as the two of them would, so they went above and beyond to make sure that their wedding day was going to be a memorable event for everyone involved. Spoiler alert: it was!
Maggie and Payton have a simple yet classic style.
They selected the beautifully historic Woodbine Mansion in Austin, TX as their wedding venue and it seriously could not have been a better location! Woodbine Mansion is so very elegant and has the dreamiest touches of southern charm and European features that tie in perfectly with their romantic style! The groomsmen looked charming in their black tuxedos and the bridesmaids wore stunning champagne satin gowns. Now this is a trend I can absolutely get behind. More satin bridesmaid dresses, please!
I’m going to let you in on a little secret, I absolutely adored how Maggie and Payton wrote each other letters to read before the ceremony! They decided against a traditional first look and instead shared a private moment together without physically being together. Through their letters to one another, they were able to share how they were feeling — I think it got the two of them really excited for the ceremony and helped shake off the nerves! This moment was so special to watch as they both were touched by each other’s letters. It was obvious how this love is so strong and so real!
The details of their chic wedding at Woodbine Mansion were immaculate; everything was intentional but nothing was too over the top!
Maggie and Payton proved that there are seriously no rules when it comes to designing your wedding, the more it feels like you — the better! It was amazing to see how the newlyweds transformed the mansion into what felt like their own home to welcome friends and loved ones on their big day. They achieved this homey feel by incorporating personal photos and details throughout the decor like heritage photos and custom cornhole boards. Some incredibly fun marquee letters by the DJ booth also made this feel like a laid back outdoor summer soiree!
By keeping the details personal and light, Maggie and Payton could center the focus of their day around the love that they share. While I did absolutely gush over the gorgeous bouquets the girls held and the adorable fresh floral cascade on the cake, Maggie and Payton’s smiles were the greatest, and most important, detail of all! I mean, how stunning are they?!
Maggie and Payton definitely achieved their goal of hosting a good time for their crew!
All of their guests had contagious smiles from the time they walked into the venue until the time they left. There were tears of joy shed as our lovely couple said “I Do!” and as their favorite people toasted to their love! Family and friends looked on lovingly as Maggie and Payton shared their first dance on the lawn of Woodbine Mansion before inviting all of their guests to join them on the dance floor. Everyone was up and dancing throughout the night and having the best time! A fun confetti send-off wrapped up the beautiful evening as Maggie and Payton hopped into a white F-150 to drive off together to their first night of forever.
Here’s to your beautiful lives together, Maggie and Peyton! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.
