STEPHANIE + TATE
This downtown Dallas engagement session is straight out of your Pinterest board dreams, champagne, sunnies, and your partner. Downtown Dallas is a great location for engagement photos. I could spend hours exploring the city and all the historic buildings, cute cafes and mural walls! Taking your photos here is perfect for couples who are artistic, creative and looking for that city vibe!
Tate and Stephanie met in high school, but it wasn’t until they graduated when they had started dating. Tate joined the military right after graduation, and has been back home only a handful of times since joining. Tate was able to go home on leave 6 months after he proposed to Stephanie on New Year’s Eve, this meant that we were able to have this beautiful Downtown Dallas engagement session in the warm summer heat.
Downtown Dallas
We started the session at a parking garage, the vibe they wanted was to look back at their photos in a few years and think “Wow, we were so cool!” That is exactly what we got, and you’ll see it in their photos. We worked our way around downtown and just started capturing their love on the streets of Dallas! I loved being able to capture and display their love with the fun photo props they had brought!!
The last location we shot at was Trinity River Bridge. We got some candid shots of them just talking with each other, enjoying one another’s company, and cheers’ing with a good bottle of champagne. We ended the session by walking across the street to get back to Trinity Groves to eat at their favorite restaurant Beto & Sons. Yes, of course I grabbed their award winning margaritas!
